About Us
Ultimate bikes was founded in 1992 by Simon Bucknall and we’ve been bike crazy ever since - we’ve designed them, built them, restored them, sold them and sometimes even got the chance to ride them! From carbon fibre recumberatnts and old fashioned butcher’s bikes to top of the range racing bikes we’ve done the lot.
So Why should you use us?
Once you have the perfect bike the most important thing is to get the right products and accessories to give you and your bike the best future together. That’s where we come in, with over 15 years of quite geeky bike know how we can advise on over 7,000 bike bits and pieces, whether you’re a bike novice or a seasoned trialthete we can help. from what spline your bottom bracket needs to the best re-hydration pack for a trialthon.
But we don’t sell bikes now....
Love bikes as we do, we’ve decided not to sell them on-line as we firmly believe that all bikes (except the folding variety) should be fitted to you before you buy... an uncomfortable, ill fitting bike will be unloved and unused!
So please look round the site and if you have any questions or need some technical advice please call us.
